Welcome to my food blog!
I’m so glad you are here, on my blog you will find recipes from Pakistani cuisine to fast food recipes, cakes, and cookie recipes. I recently started baking bread so you will find some of those too. I also write about my favorite kitchen tools, cookbooks, cooking tips, reviews, and some random writings on things Important to me. My Love of taking pictures was the reason behind the inception of this blog, therefore, you will find pictures, lots and lots of them; pictures of flowers, nature, trees, and food.
I love experimenting in the kitchen and trying recipes that are not only delicious but also easy. My favorite recipes are the ones that require no special equipment nor any complex techniques.
Above all thanks for stopping by, also please feel free to leave feedback or ask questions, if you have any.
Joyous cooking & keep smiling!
My name is Asna, and I am a food blogger and photographer. I’ve always loved experimenting in the kitchen and trying recipes that are not only delicious but also easy.
When you read the blog you will often find me mentioning how things were when I was growing up. I was lucky to be blessed with a loving family. We lived in a house that was filled with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. While each family had their own living spaces, we had a common kitchen and dining area.
Just imagine the dinnertime with 20 to 25 people every day! Still to this day I often go back down the memory lane and reminisce about those days. It seems like it was not just a different time but a different world altogether.
Even if I try I can’t ever give that kind of living environment to my kids, but how I wish I could. I never realized, until after I got married, that I learned so much by having meals with family other than just my own siblings and parents for so many years.
Above all, I learned so much more about how to treat others and many important aspects of life, in this very different, complex yet difficult kind of living situation. Hence, If you read my blog and recipes you will often find traces from my memories from back home.
The most important thing that I learned was how to share, without even thinking about it. It’s one thing to share consciously and then there is sharing where you offer and other takes or you are offered and others gives. This kind of sharing of food, space, and love is beautiful.
Enjoy the process of cooking and eating food, do share it & keep it simple.
I FIND BEAUTY IN SIMPLE THINGS AND JOY IN REAL MOMENTS THAT COME AND GO COMPLETELY UNPLANNED, I TRY TO TAKE PICTURES OF SUCH THINGS WHENEVER I CAN, THIS WAY I COLLECT SMALL TOKENS OF TIME PASSED FOREVER.
